The Fear Of The L-rd!

"The fear of the L-rd is the beginning of wisdom". This statement is said over and over again in the Bible. It was made very clear that if you don't understand the fear of the L-rd G-d of Israel, you will never ever have a covenant relationship with Him (G-d). This means no salvation for you and possibly all of yours.

Many people (men and women) say they hate the word "fear", they say that they love and respect the L-rd, but they could never fear him. The word "respect" leaves wiggle room, in other words, they can accept or reject any part of G-d's law they might want to and keep what they could feel cozy with. In doing this, they are saying (G-d) can take the rest of His laws, rules, and plans for man-kind and trash them! These people do not want to be bothered by hearing them.

In other words, they will accept what they want and reject the rest. And they believe the fanatics can take the rest.

I believe they have made their bed (nest). Now they are going to have to live in it, and of course, answer for the decision they have made.

Now that the air is cleared, lets get to the message of where we have been and where we are going.

We know the beginning, but do you understand the end? Many Christians think tribulation is only for the Jews!

However, Jews have never heard of tribulation, they think tribulation means being born a Jew.

Americans think to "fear" only means their own personal fear.

Their fear is for their families, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, brothers, and sisters, who are now at war fighting in Iraq and Pakistan.
They fear they and their family will be destroyed in some major terrorist attack in the United States. They fear the destruction of our environment, or some other terrible plague that could destroy America.

They understand these worldly hazards, but they cannot seem to come to a understanding of the fear of the L-rd G-d of Israel.

Maybe the following verses of scripture will open their eyes.

Ecc 7:14
When times are good, be happy;
but when times are bad, consider:
God has made the one
as well as the other.
Therefore, a man cannot discover
anything about his future.

Isa 45:7
I form the light and create darkness,
I bring prosperity and create disaster;
I, the LORD, do all these things

Isa 54:16
"See, it is I who created the blacksmith
who fans the coals into flame
and forges a weapon fit for its work.
And it is I who have created the destroyer to work havoc

Isa 66:16
For with fire and with his sword
the LORD will execute judgment upon all men,
and many will be those slain by the LORD.

Ecc 7:14

Am 3:6
When a trumpet sounds in a city,
do not the people tremble?
When disaster comes to a city,
has not the LORD caused it?

Now if humanity won't try to understand the fear of the Lord, then possibly all the above plagues and curses could come on all man-kind. Most Christians and Jews think G-d is here just to give us what we want and protect us when we need it. They could not imagine that the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob would want anything from us, and has some claims on certain parts of the earth.

Christian and Jews have a "syndrome." It is called "What can I get from G-d?" G-d wants our absolute obedience. He is not interested in our religious traditions, liturgy, or our religious sacrifices, He just wants our absolute obedience. The L-rd speaks about this many times in the Bible. They (Israel) didn't listen then, and the Christians and Jews are not listening now. One reference that comes to mind is Zechariah 7:1-14.

Justice and Mercy, Not Fasting

Zec 7:1 In the fourth year of King Darius, the word of the LORD came to Zechariah on the fourth day of the ninth month, the month of Kislev.

Zec 7:2 The people of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Regem-Melech, together with their men, to entreat the LORD

Zec 7:3 by asking the priests of the house of the LORD Almighty and the prophets, "Should I mourn and fast in the fifth month, as I have done for so many years?"

Zec 7:4 Then the word of the LORD Almighty came to me:

Zec 7:5 "Ask all the people of the land and the priests, 'When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months for the past seventy years, was it really for me that you fasted?

Zec 7:6 And when you were eating and drinking, were you not just feasting for yourselves?

Zec 7:7 Are these not the words the LORD proclaimed through the earlier prophets when Jerusalem and its surrounding towns were at rest and prosperous, and the Negev and the western foothills were settled?' "

Zec 7:8 And the word of the LORD came again to Zechariah:

Zec 7:9 "This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another.

Zec 7:10 Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the alien or the poor. In your hearts do not think evil of each other.'

Zec 7:11 "But they refused to pay attention; stubbornly they turned their backs and stopped up their ears.

Zec 7:12 They made their hearts as hard as flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that the LORD Almighty had sent by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. So the LORD Almighty was very angry.

Zec 7:13 " 'When I called, they did not listen; so when they called, I would not listen,' says the LORD Almighty.

Zec 7:14 'I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations, where they were strangers. The land was left so desolate behind them that no one could come or go. This is how they made the pleasant land desolate.' "

In Zec. 7:11-13 we see clearly that G-d calls them to obey, but they would not!

It is very clear what the results are, of closing our ears and our eyes to the warning G-d has given us. So when we call out to Him in our troubles, He will close His ears to our cries for mercy and help, and never again answer our prayers!

The Lord "G-d" asks us to bless his people Israel to live in the land that He gave to them for all time. And the Israeli people (Hebrew children) are given a mandate and strict orders to maintain and care for this land for all eternity.

Sixty percent (60%) of the Israelis don't believe they are obligated in any way to the land of Israel, and so thumb their nose to G-d. (No fear of the L-rd).

Our president and most of our government, Republican and Democrat, and the majority of the American public, believe they can cut up G-d's Holy Land and give it to the Palestinians.

The Jews have one country and the Arabs have many countries. The land of Israel is only one four hundredth (1/400th) of the Moslem Arab world. The Moslem world so hates children of Israel that they want to take away everything that the Jews have. This is not a guess, this is a well documented fact. Their desire is to totally destroy the Jewish State of Israel and the Jewish people. In this way, they are doing it piece by piece by piece.

Most of the Christian world is supporting the Jews and their homeland, but I am sad to say that many organized churches here in the United States and Europe are supporting the Palestinians to take G-d's Holy Land away from the children of Israel. They want to create a Moslem State that never existed before!

This land has been controlled by Egypt, Syria, Turkey, Persia. No-one ever considered this land part of their country. It was just a highway from one part of the Fertile Crescent to the other. (reference Encyclopedia Britannica 2001).

The Europeans and the Arab world are pressuring the United States to promote, and invoke this evil plan "The Road Map To Peace."(??)

The Bush administration seems very anxious to throw the Jews out of the "Land" G-d gave them. This so called "Road Map to Peace," is really the "Road Map to HELL."

Ariel Sharon says he has a mandate to give this land away to the Moslem terrorists. He says he is in agreement with our government, President George W. Bush and his whole cabinet. In fact, as far as I can tell, the whole United States congress, (Senate and Congress) believe it's a great idea to give a large portion of this Holy Land away to the Palestinians.

This land is G-d's land and He gives it to the children of Israel, and no one else. All through the Tannach (Old Testament) He very clearly speaks about it in the singular "My Land":

Lev. 25:23 / Eze. 36:5 / Joel 3:2 / Isa. 14:25

The Lord G-d repeats these words "My Land" in many places in the Bible. No nation, government, group, or individual has any right to touch this "Holy Land" at any time.

Many did, and then eventually, they and their nation were destroyed.

Prime Minister Sharon, with the help of President Bush, is going to start forcibly evicting 8,500 residents of 225 Jewish communities, from Gaza and parts of northern Shomron. They will be destroying their homes, farms, industries, Synagogues, and cemeteries. For any family or families that resist, they have already started to construct concentration camps to place them in.

This is desecrating G-d's Holy Land, AND DEFYING THE G-D OF ISRAEL. This will bring swift destruction on Israel and the United States. The mighty arm of the L-rd and swift sword will be coming soon.

There is something you as a person or group can do. The U.S. government is going to be involved in this evil plan. Stand up and be counted against this evil plan now while there is still time.

Please write to the President, the Vice President, the Secretary of State, and your Senators and Congressman.

Write to your news papers and, if the L-rd allows, go to the Holy Land and stand in the gap for G-d's land and the Jews that are in fear of the L-rd and are holding onto that land with their lives.
