The Faith of David

The whole world will know "There is a G-d in Israel"

To whom does the land of Israel belong, and is there a G-d of Jacob?

Is this all foolish dreaming and well-wishing by the Jewish people? Is Eretz (all the land of Israel) just a nice place for Jews to live and have some ancient history of their early beginnings? Well, many other peoples have lived there too, and have made a significant history in that place. The Assyrian, the Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Mamalukes, the Nomadic Arabians, and of course the Automan Empire (Turks) lived there for many hundred years, but none of these people wanted to make this land into a nation: It was only a possession or a very strategic location in the Middle East, dead center in the middle of the fertile crescent. In all the thousand of years of history did any of these peoples ever record it as their home land? NO! This land was only part of some other nation.

Did any of these people ever pray for the land and crops and early and late rains? NO! Only the Galute (wandering Jew)! Wherever he was driven on the face of this earth (Diaspora), only the Jew prayed for blessings on the land and to the city of the living G-d, Jerusalem. Don't we face Jerusalem when we pray? And do any of us remember what we said under the marriage Chupa, "If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget its skill, may my tongue cling to the roof of mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not consider Jerusalem my highest joy."

Is G-d dead? Well if there is a G-d of Jacob then many of us have never paid attention to what he has always been saying. Were we listening when He said He took away lands of other people and gave it to Israel (Jacob).

And in the latter days, He would restore agriculture and the good water sources, and rebuild the great cities on the ruins of the ancient cities.

G-d would proceed ahead of the Israel Army like hornets to confuse and terrorize the enemies of Israel. Israel exists today because G-d has defeated all of her enemies!

When Jacob left Be'er-Sheva and was in the Judean-Samarian mountains, he stopped for the night. It is here he had a famous dream of the ladder from earth to heaven. Most people remember the story of the heavenly ladder, but very few remember what he said when he awoke. "Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it." Today the secular world calls this place the West Bank, but many of us know it as Judea-Samaria, Bet El. It is still today the place of G-d. Also this land includes Gaza "Gush-Katif".

And in another Biblical example, David said to the Philistine you come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the L-rd Almighty, the G-d of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will hand you over to me, and I'll strike you down and cut off your head, today I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and beast of the earth, and the whole world will know that "THERE IS A G-D IN ISRAEL."

Nothing has changed, this is still the army of the living G-d, and He is still there in the land of Israel.

So you see, some of us cannot accept this false peace; and giving this Holy Land to the Palestinian Moslem terrorists or anybody else!

By G-d decree this land cannot be divided up or given away.

The Israeli government is trying to do this with the help of the United States government. This will evoke the wrath of G-d, first to Israel and then to the United States. The world catastrophes that we have recently seen are nothing compared to what will be coming if we don't stop this terrible desecration of G-d's Holy Land.

Yes, we as individuals are held accountable. "You can be part of the solution, you can do something." If you wonder what, write to me!

And as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

Shalom, Ariel
